YOA Alert

Under strict psychiatric instructions I am now uploading my YOA comic strips up onto the net to be mocked and ridiculed across the web. I've scanned in over a month's worth of the bastards and if you can't read my BLOCK CAPITAL writings, tough. And if you think the artwork is shitty, well, you're right, but I was drawing these randomly on clipboards while using public transport, and some of the shitty ones actually got published, SO WHO IS LAUGHING NOW, YOU FREAK?!?

But the artwork will improve. Honest.

Go here.

Marvel at my genius.

Spot the pop culture references.

And then tell me how awesome they are, because it's medically required, dammit.

I am indebted to you, sir.

When are they from? I got the impression they're from a few years back... as when you've shown me in person I'm amazed that you've written so many. The sheer output is very impressive alone. As usual, Dave and Andrew really crack me up.

I'm posting them in chronological order, back from 2003 onwards.

Thanks for the kind words, I really worried no one found them funny.

Yeah I did - as my diplomatic response may have suggested they aren't all gut-busters but I've seen enough of the later material to know that they get better and it's interesting to read how it all started.

FWIW, the VERY first strip is the Nigel-Is-As-Humble-As-The-Dalai-Llama one.

Some of them just didn't turn out very well, like "Nigel's Ego gets its own dressing room" or the ABC complaints department consisting of a bald, one-armed 90-year-old with an attitude problem...

I'll just keep scanning the bastards and uploading them till I run out...

Well pretty much every webcomic that's popular (even mega popular Penny Arcade) starts weak compared to how it ends up. I didn't want to be a dick, they made me laugh and are well drawn... sometimes I'm afflicted by accursed Rumpolian ethical stringency so didn't want to say that they were forged of such brilliant mirth it cured all my family of cancer.

(Though now I've said that, you can quote it out of context wherever you want! Win-win!)

Fair enough.

"I take anti-depressants now...

Anti-depressants are cool."
